Wayne Rooney Appears in WWE RAW and Slaps Wade Barrett

Former Everton footballer and current Manchester united player Wayne Rooney floored wrestler Wade Barrett at the WWE Raw event in Manchester.
King Barrett called the England captain out ringside when he accompanied Sheamus out for his match with Cesaro.
Rooney, not one to shirk a challenge, rose to his feet before landing a sweet right hook square on Barrett - a former Liverpool university student.
And the crowd loved it, chanting his name from the rafters.
It seems Rooney took a little inspiration from watching close friend Callum Smith, who claimed the British super-middleweight title at the Echo Arena on Saturday night.

The Croxteth man was on hand to witness Smith create history by defeating fellow Scouser Rocky Fielding inside one round.
The right over the top worked a gem that night for Mundo, as it clearly did again tonight.
WWE Raw is currently touring the UK, having visited Liverpool on Sunday night.
